I wish I could definitively state an hourly or per word rate for each level of editorial service, but there are too many variables between projects for any “one size fits all” pricing.
Fee varies per project, depending on the length and scope of the work. Generally a per project flat fee, payable half on signing of the agreement and half on delivery of line-edited manuscript and editorial memo.
FOR GENERAL GUIDEPOST PURPOSES ONLY—as I respect people have budgets in mind—manuscript critiques begin at $2000 and complete manuscript developmental and/or line editing services start at $3000. (If this is beyond your budget and/or the word count is relatively low, please do get in touch, as I may be able to offer an adjusted or à la carte package.)
